The Braves Are In First Place

You know, I actually saw this happen. People always doubt the ol' Bravos, but despite the insensitivity of their name, they persevere as one of the greatest teams in the National League. 13 division titles is unmatched; it's unheard of! Tonight, they have made their way into first place, again. Look out, American League; the DH will not give you the championship this year!!

You know, all day, I have been thinking about this picture, I dont know if it was the amount of cleats in the picture, or the fact that they were so overcome with joy, that they could think of no better place to hug, or if it was the thought that... I wish I had a home team, or any team for that matter. Growing up as a kid, I had 2 things in the summer, that was Baseball Cards, and a Home Team. Well, now that I am older, baseball cards cost a furtune, and I dont have a home team. This season is a fun one watch, from a distance. Not having a team, gives me no indivual sense of excitement however, which makes me feel I am being left out. Thank goodness for talk radio. The teams I have been thinking about taking as my own include, but not limited too...
Florida Marlins (home state team)
Detriot Tigers (Alan Trammell is the coach)
Atlanta Braves(Americas Team)
Chicago Cubs (Tough team not to like)
Houston Astros (Two words, Craig Biggio)
Kansas City Royals (no reason @ all, except Buddy Bell is the manager)
Tampa Bay Devil Rays (Closest team, even though everyone seems to dislike them)
Cleveland Indians (I love Major League)
Washington Nationals (Americas new team)

I will make my decision soon (before trade deadline) and stick to it. No matter, for the rest of my life. Hopefully, unless I get a home team some time before that.
