This drawing is based on characters sketched by Brian Higgins, a friend from Jacksonville. I drew it with Aldous Huxley's book, The Doors of Perception, in mind. It pretty much goes along with the last blog, but puts it a different way. "Suchness" is realizing the extraordinary in the ordinary. To seek this out is an everyday desire, but success and the desire to succeed can draw our attention away from the "suchness" of the everyday world.

Doors of Perception

Snap, snap on this one. Brian sure does have a way with the pen dosn't he, hopefully we can get him online. He would love it here.
