I want to tell noone about the links away from this blog. First, "Google Maps," is a service just begun by the web power house. With this link, you can pretty much "zoom" down from a satellite to almost any location on the marble, Earth. It's pretty cool; anyone who does not happen upon this blog should check it out.
CLUTCH
If you do not know about this band; just explore their website. There is plenty of video and audio within to give an honest representation of these guys. I think they are the best rock band in the last 20 years, but don't take my word for it.
PRELINGER ARCHIVES
First, you need Quicktime to download the video. The software is free, so unless you are on dial-up or stealing your feed, you have no excuse for not checking it out. The site is a library of video footage, past and present, representing the documentary views of countless citizens. I personally recommend viewing "Despotism" and "Man and His Culture". These videos are both from the '50s, but I still think the "Despotism" video has relevance. The "Man...Culture" video is simply entertaining. There are many contemporary documentaries; you just have to find them. I hope they broaden your perspective if you seek them out.
PALEOAMERICAN SURVEY
This site outlines the archeological fieldwork I participated in this summer. More detail is sure to come, but the things found here could represent a paridigm shift, pushing back North American habitation by more that 20 thousand years. If you are not familiar with these theories, comment. I will be more than happy to clue you in.

So...
Welcome to my new weblog journal. I've just about finished Mercenaries on the Xbox. I've only been playing it just over 20 hours; it's not as demanding as GTA San Andreas was, but it is definitely more action packed. If you have an Xbox or PS2, I recommend it. Of course, I more highly recommend GTA San Andreas, but not all of us have that amount of time to commit toward a video game. (Un)Fortunately, I made time, and I was rewarded. It's my mission to beat these games w/out cheating, and I did just that. I am the biggest pimp in San Andreas, and tomorrow, I will have defeated the rebel North Koreans while maintaining a balance between the Allied Forces and the Russian Mafia. There was nothing I could do to keep the Chinese and South Koreans from going at it, though. Luckily, I worked the two sides well enough to enable me to gain enough info. to capture/kill the N. Korean troops I needed to find the location of the Ace of Spades, General Sung. I plan on getting his ass tomorrow. Well, I hope the absence of readers enjoyed this entry into my web journal. As David Cross's hat states, "Fuck all y'all!"
Hello...Hello...Hello...Is there anybody out there?
I wanted this to be a forum, but the only people who post are me and Jeremy. I sent this link to all the "cool" people on my mainling list to no avail. I guess I will resign myself to making it another blog journal. I guess these topics were not that interesting.

The Braves Are In First Place

Check this out...
You gotta check out this link. It may take a minute to download, and you have to view it with Quicktime. It doesn't really present anything new, but it presents these views well. You may think it's leftist; I just think you should watch it.

Can't read the text?
Click on the photos to enlarge them, and you will be able to read all the text. I recommend it for the Chuck Palahniuk picture, especially.
You can't forget...

This used to be my mantra. I heard it in a Helmet song, and I used to say it to keep me grounded. I think that everyone should keep this in mind. It's especially true tonight, as my computer just survived an attempted trojan horse attack from, of all places, Korea. It's still true, someone does, in fact, hate me.

Weight a minute

I feel my first two postings are a bit too heavy. I want this to be an open forum for ANY opinion; from favorite color, to Karl Rove, to eminent domain, to tipped employee labor. Post anything you like. Tell your friends. To prove my light-heartedness, I'm going to attach a family portrait. How sappy is that?
Does this broaden your perspective?
WELCOME
The real philosophy of each person is contained in its entirety in their political actions. This is a viriation of an idea from the Italian dissident and theorist, Antonio Gramsci. I wish this idea to be the foundation for this blog. All opinions are welcome, and I hope all will be disputed.
